Screenshots of the password protected administration
portion of the program are available here:

issues, export current member database, and
send e-mail reminder to voting members that
have not yet voted.
Voting Admin: manage the voting session settings
(dates of opening and closing).
Voting Issues: ability to update the voting issues.
Admin can define up to 10 issues per session
AND define date and time the session ends.
Screenshots of member section
of the program available here:
Member Menu : main menu that displays after member
has been successfully logged on.
Modify Member's Data: member has the ability to
submit updates to their own member data. The
request is sent to admin and requires their
approval before any changes go live.
Search Other Members: search function that enables
members to search by name and county. Members
do not have the ability to see who is a voting
member. Non-voting members are not aware of
the voting portion of the program. The program
identifies them by their User ID and displays
member record search capabilities only.

MSHA
Board of Directors Voting Program with Member Contact
Searchable Database
Mid-Sized non-profit
organization with 400 professional members.
Problem:
| 1. |
Over 400 members
network each other's services statewide. They
are currently calling the MSHA office to locate
another members contact information. MSHA is a
one-person office and does not have the financial
resources to maintain and distribute regularly
updated lists. |
| 2. |
The Board
of Directors, which are a large portion of the
membership, are required to vote on regular
issues, but due to busy schedules it is virtually
impossible to schedule a quorum voting session. |
Create an on-line
program utilizing PHP/MySql technology that allows
all members to search and locate each other's contact
information. The program associates the log-in user
ID with who a VOTING Board Member is and automatically
provides those members access to vote on current issues
(pre-defined by the admin).
The program also tabulates the votes and the admin
can dynamically e-mail reminders to Board Members
that (the program has identified) have not voted in
the current session, before the session closes and
votes are final.
Admin is not privy to which member's voting choices.
Admin has access to who has NOT voted AND the total
tallies of the votes already placed. Admin does not
have capability to adjust votes.
The program does not allow voting after a session
is closed.
